Hi class!
We're only two days away from the big performance: MAY DAY 2013! I thought it would help if I put up the lyrics on our blog for you to practice at home. Please try to memorize the lyrics! The day would be a lot more fun if you knew the words to the songs you were singing. :)
If you scroll down, you can also find the song and dance moves for our performance. Practice that too!
P.S. Don't forget to wear either orange/white/green on the top and denim blue on the bottom!

The Star Spangled Banner
Oh, say can you see by the dawn's early light
What so proudly we hailed at the twilight's last gleaming?
Whose broad stripes and bright stars thru the perilous fight,
O'er the ramparts we watched were so gallantly streaming?
And the rocket's red glare, the bombs bursting in air,
Gave proof through the night that our flag was still there.
Oh, say does that star-spangled banner yet wave
O'er the land of the free and the home of the brave?
What so proudly we hailed at the twilight's last gleaming?
Whose broad stripes and bright stars thru the perilous fight,
O'er the ramparts we watched were so gallantly streaming?
And the rocket's red glare, the bombs bursting in air,
Gave proof through the night that our flag was still there.
Oh, say does that star-spangled banner yet wave
O'er the land of the free and the home of the brave?

May Day is Lei Day in Hawaii
May Day is Lei Day in Hawaii
Garlands of flowers everywhere
All of the colors in the rainbow
Maidens with blossoms in their hair
Flowers that mean we should be happy
Throwing aside a load of care
Oh, May Day is Lei Day in Hawaii
May Day is happy days out there
Garlands of flowers everywhere
All of the colors in the rainbow
Maidens with blossoms in their hair
Flowers that mean we should be happy
Throwing aside a load of care
Oh, May Day is Lei Day in Hawaii
May Day is happy days out there
Hale Kula No Ka `Oi (School Song)
Hale Kula no ka `oi, we are the best.
Seeking knowledge, `imi na `auao,
This is our quest.
Joy in learning, loving, living, that’s what’s in store.
When you come to Hale Kula,
Where eagles soar.
Hale Kula no ka `oi, `ea `ea.
Hale Kula no ka `oi, `ea `ea.
Listen to the song [here].
